Wassup fellow readers!!

This shall be my first ever post here.

As the title had mentioned, this restaurant is located at the 1st Floor, Western Courtyard, Mutiara Damansara in the Curve which is above TGI Fridays. It is Christmas Eve and sadly people like us(Beatrice Grace, Leong Wai Yew & myself) don't have any plans and decided to hang out and have dinner together.

Walking almost 10 minutes, many restaurants was packed with many heads waiting at the entrance and luckily for us, we found one restaurant with 1 table left for us.

A few minutes later after all 3 of us had ordered our meals, we wanted to order one of the premium pizza called Smoked Salmon Pizza. Suddenly, God has spoken to us. The manager came and offered us a great deal to ask us to switch to another side of the table, under the fan and if we ordered any kind of pizza, we will get extra cheese(RM3 extra) & any POWER JUICES which costs RM7.80 for FREE!!

In the end, we decided to switch our place & ordered the pizza along with our meals.

Prices range from RM12 to RM16 per peice

Definitely no regrets paying that price.

This is my first Review...

Restoran De Maw!

It is Located in Cheras, and this restaurant only serve chinese food. I've been to this restaurant for many times and this is the first time that I brought my camera there and take pictures of the awesome food!

Before you even want to dine in this Restaurant.. make sure you make your reservation!

why?

1. Not enough seats

2. They usually don't serve walk-ins

3. Their food are fresh, and so they need to know the menu before purchasing

4. Their isn't much tables.

Normally, when my family come to this restaurant, we will eat the SET MENU, because it is cheaper than 'A La Carte'

1 SET has 8 dishes including Dessert

Below is the SET Menu

* I don't have the A La Carte Menu because I can't bring home that menu.

* Their SET menu are all in Chinese. No English version. sorry..

We ate the First set (Which is the cheapest of all the sets)

Popia like cheese prawns and half egg like chicken and dried oysters * Appetizer

Shark fin soup with crab meat *Enough for 2 bowls per person (diameter of this bowl is 30cm)

Steam fish *Meat is Thick and it is fresh (diameter of this fish as 30cm from head to tail)

Ying yang prawns (Prawns steam with tau fu fa, and fried prawns with black sauce) *Fried Prawns taste better than the steam prawns, but both equal taste GOOD (Size of the prawns are at least 10cm per piece)

After we have finish up the Prawns! *Prawn Shells and plates

Sesame Chicken *Crisphy on the outside, Juicy in the inside

Vege, Fresh Mushrooms and meat. * Vege is sweet and Mushroom is juicy

Pandan Leaf Gluteness Rice *Bau Harum... Nasi Juga Harum (Size: appx height 10cm, length 15cm)

The Dessert - Longgan Water and Water Chestnut *Sweet and Refreshing

They say these dishes (portions) are for 10 people/adults. BUT TRUST ME... It is for 13- 16 Adults.. The portion of the dishes is very big ( as you can see)

Evenly distributed per person:

Appetizer - 1.5 piece per person

The Shark Fin Soup - 2 bowl per person

Prawn - 2 piece per person

Fish - 1 big piece as big as 3(50 cent coin) average per person

Chicken - at least 3 piece per person

Vege and mushroom - at least 1 person per plate

Rice - 2 bowls per person

Dessert - 1.5 bowl per person

Do contact the Restaurant for A La Carte Menus

I recommend this restaurant for anyone who want to go with a family with huge number of people.

Normally, they are fully book. Do make reservations in advance.

They open during Festive Season, Do contact them just in case.

Ninja Joe @ Tropicana City Mall

This will be my first BAD review.

(As in the food is bad, not my review!)

Went to Tropicana City Mall after swimming with Laura, Jolene, Grace Wong & MC. Jolene and MC were boasting about this 'super-chun-awesome-PORK-burger'. So, why not give it a try?

When I reached the place, alarm bells started ringing. The seating area was quite small, but there weren't many customers anyway. The Ninja Joe burgers came with 6 different sauces, from original to sweet and sour to teriyaki.

The size of the burger itself will strike you first. Considering that one of these minuscule excuses cost roughly RM3, I personally find it overpriced and not worth their value. Oh that reminds me, their personnel need to learn more about customer service.

Me: I'd like (my order) without chilli and veggies please.
Server: Uh...without chilli and veggies ah...??
Me: (thinking) Don't you dare say it's ready made cos I can see the cook making
it through the serving window. (In the end, I got what I ordered.)

I'd rather spend RM4 on a double meat patty burger at any Ramli burger stall.
Expect food reviews from the land of Singapore.

Ramli Burger @ Balai Bomba SS2

Occurs near any good Ramli burger stall.

I went out with Eric, Wai Yew, Rui Wei, Kian Min to the nearby Ramli burger stall over at the Balai Bomba SS2 entrance. This stall has changed ownership within the past year but the constant stream of customers parked by the roadside proves that the taste is still their liking.

The menu of burgers and their prices

The concept of Ramli burgers are no longer alien to us Malaysians. We often find them set up along roadsides, sometimes right in front of 7-Eleven. The good cooks will always scrap off the excess oil, which supposedly ensures that the burger is moist with juices from the meat patty and not the oils.

Can you imagine the aromas?

All in all, these Ramli burger stalls are good alternatives to late night cravings for those of you who cant be bothered to drive to the nearest mamak. I'll bet there's at least one Ramli burger stall near every one of you reading this. You just need to keep your eyes (and nose) open.
