In Part 3, we took a visit to the famous Kek Lok Si Temple with the famous 30.2m tall statue of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. Now, it includes an equally-famous pavillion shading the Goddess of Mercy's statue from the damaging elements of nature. It's supported by 16 pillars and is 82.7m tall, as high as a 20-storey building.
The place we went to was one of the roadside stalls near the entrance to Kek Lok Si Temple. See that sign on top? Go down that road until you come to the end of the wet market. Then look to your immediate right. The hawker stalls should be in that general area.
This was obviously a favourite. Out of the 10 people, 6 of us ordered this.
Duck Drumstick Mee Suah
- Nice surprise as the soup was herbal-based
- The duck meat was soft and easy to tear from bone
- MUST TRY!!!
*Ok la...this time KL managed to pay a bit...lol
This is Justin, signing out.
